First spring migrant
As last year the first spring migrant past the finishing post is the Stonechat. Probably came from a long way away, somewhere like Kent, but still good to know that migration March is just round the corner and there's only a couple of weeks before the white arses get here. While not at his breeding best, he's certainly more of the real deal than the poor first winter bird that's been pootling around Cat & Dog over the last few months–he appears to have had enough and looks to have buggered off.
