Great shots! Where about on the flats were they taken? I'm hoping to go to Wanstead Flats within the next few days so it would be great if you could let me know!
These were taken in the scrub between the Golden Fleece and the Alex = the pub scrub. The birds here are more approachable if they are in the tops of the bushes, however there was only 1 there today, but still confiding. Wheareas the 2 in the broom fields were not for letting you approach. Have a look at the map on the blog to see if that helps with directions, or if you come down in the morning there will probably be someone with bins to help you
